Karak castle this morning was huge, but lacked explanations. The dana valley is superb and our lodge ? An exceptional place with the most amazing view over the canyon.

Madaba is famous for its old and beautiful mosaics: from the roman, byzantine and Ayyubin eras. The city is walkable and other beautiful buildings are interesting to visit.

We discover Umm Qays and the village that was built on top of the roman ruins is more interesting, then we drive to Pella, which is a little meh. Mt Nebo is, however, a great stop !

We start our way north towards the impressive, mostly roman, ruins of Jerash and then drive to Ajloun castle, an islamic citadel that was never captured by the crusaders.

We dedicated this day to visit the Jordan Museum in order to prepare the next weeks visits and built a basic understanding of all the archeological sites we will be visiting.

We visit the main archeological sites around Amman city center, the most interesting is the citadel with the superposition of occupations from the bronze age !

In the morning, we recover from our red eye flight before exploring around our hotel and going up the hill to rainbow street.

This is our last morning of Safari before flying to Amman in Jordan. And we finally saw a leopard ! Big 5 check !

We leave the Serengeti today to go back towards Arusha. We game drive the entire day at a slow pace and enjoy all the various beautiful landscapes along the way.
