We have a full day to rest and enjoy the village of Jericoacoara and its beach

We get our first taste of the dunes with a beach buggy tour to the East. It's mostly going from one beach club to another. We enjoy the lagunas.

We should have arrived just 1hour before. All buses to Jericoacoara are full until the 3pm one, and it's a full day wasted waiting at Fortaleza bus station.

We spend our last day in Olinda enjoying our hostel facilities before taking our night bus to Fortaleza.

The city center is very small and full of colorful houses and 16 or 17th century buildings. It can be done in half a day. We walk the narrow cobblestone streets at a sedate pace.

After a comfortable night bus, we arrive in Recife. But I decided to skip the big city in favor of a quiet stay in the small UNESCO village of Olinda, 7km away.

We have a night bus to Recife later today - and we spend the afternoon visiting Barra fort and lighthouse, then enjoyed the beach.

We booked a day trip to kayak in the Mangrove of Itapareca. It's organized by Carlos, and we felt like we spent an afternoon with a friend. It was an incredible and simple experience.

We have booked a walking tour to visit the city center. We have lunch at a restaurant serving only specialty from Bahia state and continue exploring on foot.

Our flight is reasonably early and we arrive in Salvador in beginning of the afternoon - we have time to explore a little Barra area.
