Chile

After 1 month in France to be with our family, we are back on the road. We decide to skip Argentina and pick up the original itinerary where we should have been: North of Chile.

This is a very busy rest day catching up on laundry and admin. Let's summarize the O circuit top tips.

The good weather for a nice view of the famous towers is really short today and we go at Sunrise. The way down is done under heavy rain the entire time.

This section has beautiful portions along the lake shore & amazing viewpoints - but the last part up the valley to Chileno is steep and hard.

The walk from Paine Grande to Camping Frances without Mirador Britannico is short and quite nice with a lot of rainbows and an amazing sunrise.

Easy and short walk to join one of the largest refugio of the parc. I couldn't have walked more today.

This was a hard day - the snow, the ice and the descent were brutal. But the view of the Grey Glacier at the top ! I was in awe.

The hike to Los Perros is short, and we expected it to have steep portions, it ended up being fairly gentle.

The portion from Seron to Dickson is the longest in distance of the entire circuit, but it's a fairly easy one.

The first day of the O Circuit in Patagonia to camp Seron is mostly flat and the views get increasingly better as the day goes by.
