We get to swim in the Rio Negro today before continuing our cruise to see the Meeting of the waters. We end this day with caipirinhas on the observation deck watching the sunset.
We have a normal day with all the boat and kayaking activities. Our walk was a lot more about survival technics in the jungle today - very interesting.
Today it's piranhas for lunch, but first, we have to fish them. We had a ton of fun with this activity - then it's our usual walk and boat activities on the river.
First day kayaking and I love it ! The noises of nature are unbelievable and it's a serene experience. And during our walk, we see our first huge spider !
Time to check out the Christ Redeemer, followed by visits of a few other beautiful churches downtown. Then we get to the airport early to avoid the worst of the rush hour.
We explore the city center of Rio de Janeiro. All the main sights, the Seladon stairs and the Sao Bento convent to finish with the historical tram back to Santa Teresa.
We couldn't find two tickets on the same flight to go back to Rio De Janeiro and we travel separately. That meant, long waiting times on each end for one of us and a day wasted in transport.
Busy day in the Brazilian side: Itaipu dam, the falls and the bird parks ! Every single visit today was amazing. Brazil has a lot more to offer for visitors.
